Salty City Lake
Salty City Lake is the water sports center of the Lower Saxony. With its 75 acres and a north-south length of 2120 meters, it is famous for sailors, surfers, rowers and canoeists.
Of course you can just (sun) bathe. The 1,600 meter long beach and excellent water quality permit Carefree fun for everyone. Their recreational fun at the lake have also cyclists, anglers, divers, and model boat enthusiasts. The island in Salzgittersee remains largely unaffected by these activities and is of calm and relaxation while walking.
Ice Ring Salty City
You can have on the ice in a lot of ways. From top-class ice shows with national and international stars, to the peaceful curling and skating sports for everyone, there is a wide range of possibilities. In summer, when the system is defrosted, the hall turns into a celebration of music events for all ages and small fairs.
Braunschweig is a city of 247,400 people located in the federal-state of Lower Saxony. It is located north of the Harz mountains at the farthest navigable point of the Oker river, which connects to the North Sea via the rivers Aller and Weser.
